The genocide of Bangladesh in 1971

A national seminar titled 'The Genocide of Bangladesh in 1971’ was organized on Friday, July 21, at 8 pm at the Center for Genocide-Torture and Liberation War Studies. Begum Anam Zakaria, a prominent researcher and author from Pakistan, was present at the seminar. Mr. Haroon Khalid, another prominent researcher from Pakistan, also took part in the discussion. Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman delivered the welcome speech and Shahriar Kabir, the Chairman of the Committee of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee and Trustee of the Genocide-Torture Archive and Museum Trust, delivered the introductory speech. The seminar was presided over by the renowned historian Dr. Muntassir Mamoon.
